Last week, you may aware that one of my mature drawings just got removed from DA. It was one of MLP Flashing for the Cure pics I did last October. They said that it involved minor characters in a nude scene. First off, I don’t draw minor characters that involve nude or sexual related stuff. I understand about this child porn, it a big issue that everyone are worried about, especially when it comes to pedophile. So that why when I do female characters (especially 6teen, TDI, and MLP), I wanted make them as GROWN UP ADULTS and NOT underage. Most Total Drama and Equestria Girls character look old enough to be 18 or older. They may be at least 16 or 17 in their actual show, but in my drawing world when I do nudie scene, I tries to age them up. And Second, I tend to stay away at very young characters, like Lisa Simpson, Laney Penn, Blythe Baxter, etc, which they are just very young to be naked. Bikini or swimsuit is the fairest I can go; I don’t want to get lot of trouble.
So after my pic was removed, I took action to make sure it won’t happen again. First, I edited almost all of my mature drawing, with no nude or body show, and no censored tags. All I did was keep their heads, that’s it. I even have to change the title and info about it. But I did mention about my private blog. But there are still few pics I need to work on.
So it was very tough when I got a message from DA staff, and I have to make lot of changes for it. But one thing for sure: my account is still alive. I have been in this website for eight years long, and I have no plan to get ban after what happen. I still continue on drawing female pics, including bikini and even some nude scene if I being more careful. I know nudie or sexual related with minor characters is big concern, but just because I do mature artworks doesn’t mean I’m a pedophile. I understand what is right and what is wrong in this real world, but it doesn’t affect what I can or can’t do in my fictional drawing world. So here’s the advice for everyone, if you don’t like my artworks, that’s fine. I respect your opinion, but you need to tell me what I can or can’t draw, and I don’t need to tell you what you can’t do. It’s my drawing, my world.
